Introducing Jordan
Owner, Lunch in the Woods Consulting
Jordan, an accomplished First Nation professional, originates from the traditional and unceded territory of Mi’kma’ki on the East coast of Canada. Using Two-Eyed Seeing as her guiding principle, her work is focused on engaging diverse cultures, and building strong relationships, and youth leadership to create thriving Indigenous communities.

An alumna of Acadia University, Jordan graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2014, commencing a career dedicated to Indigenous community development. Beginning her career with the Mi’kmaw Physical Activity Leadership (MPAL) program, she worked closely with Mi'kmaq Bands in Nova Scotia, utilizing physical activity to enhance the health and sustainability of communities. Jordan expanded her expertise, achieving certification as a First Aid instructor in 2015 and becoming a learning facilitator for the Aboriginal Coaching Modules (ACM) in 2020.

In 2021, Jordan assumed the role of Program Officer at the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation (ACIC), overseeing initiatives tailored for Indigenous Youth. The International Internships for Indigenous Youth (IIIY) Program was of particular significance to her personal and professional development, expanding her engagement to Indigenous communities across Canada and forming new relationships with international communities.
